So my computer has decided officially that it no longer wants to be a computer. It just informed me yesterday that it will not work without being plugged into the charger, and even then it still turns itself off whenever it feels like it and I never know if it'll turn back on again  :-\

I desperately need a new computer. Then I'll be able to do things like draw and skype and not have to wait forever for things to load. *ssiiggghhhhhhh*

And although I failed to get the memo explaining why, Socialism = Bad.

Ahahahaha funny story about that.
Me in the US at school:

Girl 1: I'm a republican, democrats are evil
Girl 2: I'm a democrat, republicans are evil
Girl 1: *to me* what are you?
Me: uhhhh I don't know that much about US politics, but um I'm from Canada and we have socialism there.
Girl 1+girl 2: Communist! You kill babies!
Random student turns around: Communist?! Where?! Aren't communists all evil people?
Me: ...? *wonders what the hell is even going on*

Pffff I'm still sadlaughing over how little we Americans are actually taught about these things. I mean, two polar opposites equated, combined with completely irrational accusations? I've seen plenty of that too :P

Aaaah! That's really cool!
I've been reading since ARTD and waited for SSSS to start, but I think since I'm pretty new in the forums and comments I shouldn't wear any honour symbols  :P I was slooooooow to start participating!

I got this thing!

(and also a derpy kitty)
Argh, you got the book.. I'm jealous.
But hey, you obviously get to have the ribbons. Seeing as you started with aRTD, you're probably one of the longest-running fans here.

In case anyone from overseas is wondering, we don't have effective mass transit here in the U.S. because socialism.
oooooooooh is that why you have so many cars and why you're so into roadtrips. I had no idea actually.

I'd say norway doesn't have any effective mass transit either despite being one of the most socialist countries... but i guess that's a "too few people and too many mountains" thing

also yoo Dalahästen you have the artd book im sosososo jealous. also cat hello cat what a cute cat
(you totally deserve ribbons btw!)

You should hang out with the debate kids. They're guaranteed to have weird politics, and probably not bug you about yours. (I know our debate team has at least one communist and one anarchist...)

So I've just got my interview over with today, and it went better than expected. I was actually working for the manager's department before and he really wants to have me back and thinks I'm qualified, but in keeping with my family's motto- there's always something- he's afraid I might be a little too shy to properly work out with people when they screw up (I'll have to catch defective parts before they get to the customer). Derp He's got one more person to interview so hopefully in the next few days we'll find out who's The Chosen One. >_<

Yes. I keep having these nightmares that I'll somehow fail to get it - that I'll be in Sweden or something when it comes on sale. I want it so badly. -.-
