I just came home from an Árstíðir concert. It was wonderful and magical and intimate and everything I hoped it to be. And I wanted to give blanket thanks to this fandom - because I only heard about them three months ago in SSSS-Chat!
I love this.  ^-^ Thanks for introducing me to Árstíðir!
And Haiz, I hadn't heard that album before! Thanks! (I like The Oh Hellos. :D)
Right now I'm listening to this:

That looks really cool! Great, another anime to watch... The character on the right really reminds me of Kida Masaomi from Durarara for some reason... just that combo of that hairstyle and the bandana I suppose. :D

Mm... listening to Arkona today. I think Q was the one who recommended this band to me, maybe? :Va Or maybe not. It seems like the kind of thing they'd like, tho'.

How have I not heard of The Oh Hellos before?  Thank you, Haiz!
no problem! I also love their previous album, through the deep dark valley, but they don't sell it as Real Life CDs anywhere? ;__;

For once youtube suggestions were actually good and I got this and it's awesome.

Oh, that's OK.  I don't buy Real Life CDs anymore.  It's all digital.  I think I buy one CD a year, and only because I personally know the artist and it's not available as a download.  (Mind, all I do is rip it to my computer anyway).

To keep this on topic for the thread, here, have some live Tacocat!

Keep an eye on me. I shimmer on horizons.

What, she's 19. How. How

Plus I forgot about this other band I wanted to put here, First Aid Kit.

I've loved this band for years now, but they weren't really popular. Then this song came out suddenly it's everywhere, like, the first time I heard it was in a fast food place and I was all WAIT THIS IS FIRST AID KIT.
My mom: What.
Me: That band I really really like! The Swedish one! I HAVEN'T HEARD THIS SONG BEFORE WHAT IS IT?!
My mom: Okay.

For once the song stuck in my head is actually a song I like! Maybe it will help me channel my inner Sigrun wait no that's a terrible idea I work in customer service.
Katzenjammer - A Bar in Amsterdam

And this one was stuck in my head yesterday - warning, it is very catchy (and the video is a little...suggestive).
