As I said, I'm in, it's just that I'll only be able to join in... now eight days.
When I think of deep psychological insight, I think of three names: Freud; Jung; Grignr.

This looks like a good idea, I can't promise I will provide a lot of stories (it highly depend on when I feel like writing something), but I'm willing to provide feedback. Will sign up and edit in my ID soon.

Okay, due to the nature of Syncthing the changes will spread to each of you when one of us with a more recent version is online at the same time.
you should see a rqeust from me asking to sync a folder with you. Accept and assign it a folder on your computer for it to sync into.
I have created folders for each person, if you want to go ahead an put something in your own folder. I have placed a test file in mine.

Okay, I put a test file in mine also - Unwary, I saw you were trying to share a folder with me but I don't think it worked? Like, it wouldn't let me save it... can you try again?

Solo, you don't save it, it's not a file. You give it a folder for it to keep in sync between us. I think you have given it some sort of general folder, as I have all sorts of random stuff from somebody.
(Did not poke around to find out whose, and I suggest everyone do the same.)
Delete the entry in your syncthing control panel, and then try again, sending it to an empty folder.
http://docs.syncthing.net/intro/getting-started.html for everyone's reference.
Nobody delete ANYTHING in their folders until Solo reports back as it would then delete the file on Solo's side.
( /me is embarrassed that such a guffaw happened.)

:-\ I got two messages from two different people about this, and I'm sorry, but I really have no idea what I'm doing.
What is the all clear you're waiting for?
I don't think any of those files ported over were even mine?
Going to bed now, I'll pop into the chat tomorrow in case you wanted to talk in person, Unwary

That's likely me, for some reason it saved into my documents folder, not an actual, independent folder (yes, I typed in a new folder for it to be in, but it didn't generate a new one). If so, there should be documents like"My Kindle Contents" and "Fax" and "Scanned Documents". It should change, as I've removed the connection and made a new one to a folder prepared beforehand, and it's been successful. If it's mine, just delete all the left over stuff when you want to, it's not shared with you guys anymore and won't affect my own files.

Sorry about that, if it was me.

Edit: Yup, all mine. Sorry that you got the blame, Solo.

Edit 2: Also, I deleted it yesterday before going to sleep, I suppose I wasn't quick enough. :/

Ah, glad that it was resolved.
On my side all your file have vanished DarkRawen, so it looks like we are good.
Remember that syncthing only updates when two people, one with a newer version are online.
(I am running it from a desktop that rarely turns off, so it is usually me.)

Yeah sorry Solo, your comment about not being able to save it made me jump to conclusions, and I dind't want to poke around to find out for sure. I am posting a brief snippet of mine in the to be read section. Each author should pdf what they want to submit, and when they critique it, save a copy wiht thier name and the comments they have added.
so if DarkRawen reads it, I would find a file  named ImpureDR.pdf, with all his comments inside.

I understand that PDFs are better for cross-platform compatibility, but depending on the version of adobe you use, annotating them isn't always super easy.

Same here, PDF isn't ideal for me. Why not Word? You do know you can insert comments on each individual line/word with Word, right? I'd assume it's easier to use, less likely to take forever to load, and easier to write in for the writers. Or is there an issue getting Word? Any (or at least most) formats that's not PDF is okay with me.
