in all seriousness I've never had so much fandom-related fun before, and I've made so many excellent friends that I can barely keep up with it (I'M SORRY), and if I hadn't been here during my summer in prague i would have been so incredibly lonely. so uh. thank you for being such a huge part of my life! I know I'm not very active right now, but keeping up my past activity was kind of all-consuming^^" I no longer spam every page of the art museum, but i read it every day and it always warms my heart to see how it keeps going and how people keep creating and aaahhhhhh!! THE SAP. I'M FEELING IT


edit: and let us not forget how i began my forum carreer with a "I don't think I'll be very active". it has been used as an example so many times................

actually I hadn't really noticed my post count is over 3,900 now.... I seem to have a tradition of posting artd fanart for every thousandth post..................... i should uphold that tradition if my effort levels allow me >:3c

My windows 10 laptop gave me a message saying it needed to restart to install updates but I was using it so I clicked cancel, "I'll restart it when I'm done" I think. Then a few minutes later the computer apparently thinks eff you I'm restarting anyway and the screen goes black without warning and then "restarting" shows up. Thankfully I was just browsing reddit but if I had been working on something then I would have lost it for sure.
So uh, moral of the story is that windows thinks you're a massive inconvenience and doesn't care what you want or don't want to do it will do what IT wants to do whenever it wants.  >:(

Oh and as a bonus after restarting it shows me the notification "Windows could not install updates"

Yepp, I remember always checking the scheduled updates thing so it doesn't turn off on me. When Windows generously set back the photo viewer for like the fourth time to their shiny new app from the old one I liked... I had enough and finally installed Linux, after procrastinating for like half a year. (huge thanks to Troposphère for walking me through it!)

I swear, Linux could/should use the catchphrase "Do you want to actually own your computer? Install Linux!" :D
