history repeats itself. first lecture of the semester, and only two students (including me) show up. the classroom was incredibly small and lacked a lot of things, like a projector, or a swamp for the blackboard... at least the other student is a talker, too, so it's not just me making witty remarks in class.

this class being classical rhetoric, I wonder how many will show up for classical literature tomorrow.

Heh, reminds me of my History of Architecture courses, almost no one bothered to come to those after the first 3. 
Quite odd I would say, since the history of architecture is both a rather interesting subject and fairly important.

I am very stubborn when it comes to lectures and classes, it doesnt MATTER if the lecturer speaks about architecture theory in danish and i fall asleep after half an hour but i'm gonna be there EVERY TIME

Today they had free poutine and maple syrup toffee, and both were really good.

The maple syrup toffee is really hot maple syrup that you pour in the snow, and then roll onto a stick and it makes a sticky sweet treat. Here is mine:
