Ooh, I have a few different favorite numbers, and all for very nerdy reasons. One is 1729, because it is the smallest number that can be written as the sum of two cubes in two separate ways (1729 = 123 + 13 = 93 + 103). Another is 842 just because I like the way it halves the value of each digit. And finally I like 73 because it's the 21st prime, 37 is the 12th prime, and 7*3 = 21, which I find to be a wonderful set of coincidences. Oddly enough I don't have a favorite single digit number.

You remembers my housemate saying I wasn't authorized to buy anything ? The other one made small Christmas presents, and our ex-temporary housemate too. They told me they weren't doing anything for Christmas when I asked how they were celebrating (my two regular housemate were sharing a flat before this house) a few weeks ago. So, I hadn't anything for them this evening :-[ If you're looking for me, I'll be hiding somewhere.

Yup! When my power goes out, the water also cuts off, and I've spent many a shower nervously looking for flickering lights. Hope you got your shower finished before the water shut off!

I did, luckily. Construction is being done on the waterline on our street, and the first time I tried to take a shower a little water trickled out before stopping completely. :P
