Mum wanted me to go and re-get my learner driver's license today, since my old one expired in 2014 ;_;
The day was busy, I was super tired all morning, and then had to do a heap of laundry, and then I was ready to go to the other town and do my test! BUT! Dad calls up and is like "Oh there is a cow mooing that i can hear, please walk down there and check it it for me." Like, he was less than 50m away from the cows and couldn't be bothered to crane his neck and look. Geez. So me and mum drive down there, there are no cows mooing, and dad walks over and is like, "Oh can you pick up all the plastic bale-wrap in this paddock so the cows don't eat it?" (why didnt you pick it up after you baled it??) So we did.
Then we went home and mum fell asleep on the couch because she is seriously run down lately. I decide to let her sleep until about 3.30, because the test place closed at 4.30 and it takes a while to drive there. So we went! And we got there a bit past 4pm, and I went in with all my ID things and waited in the queue for a while. When it was my turn I asked about doing the computer test, and the lady was like "Do you have all the IDs you need?" and I was like "YEAH!" and so we went through all the IDs and ticked them off and she was like "Nice. All in order." so I asked "So can I do the test?
" and she says...
She says...
"No, sorry. We turn the computers for the tests off at 3.45, so you missed it today. You'll have to come back in another time."
...
Why.
Why didn't she tell me that
when I first asked to do the test and why did she have to check
all my IDs IF I MISSED THE DEADLINE. WHO DOES THAT?!?! So I will have to get up at 6am tomorrow and do the test at 9am when they open. -___- Because that is the next time I can get a lift to that tOWN AAAaaaAAAaaaaAAAAaaa
