Man, I wish for a winter when we get proper snow... nowadays either only a little comes or when there is a sufficient amount for snow-fun it just melts away by the end of the week.
Also, I'm beginning to suspect that Nature is trolling North-Eastern Hungary with the constant lack of white Christmas... there was one year (2012 or '13 I believe?), when on the 22th everything was pure white, and it almost fully melted away by the morning of 24th...

What, no!? You can't use your cats as skis! ... Or maybe... No. A sled then? Doesn't have to be a big sled, it could just be a really big cauldron or a box of make-believe.

Snowball fights. Preferably from a masterfully engineered snow fort, that has like a bazillion snowballs stocked up.



The best part is building said fort.

All this talk about blood reminds me that I need to figure out my blood type at some point. I've been meaning to for a decade now, but I just don't know how to go about it.

• Look at your birth certificate. Having the blood type determined from umbilical blood is SOP nowadays.
• Find out whether you had (or might have had) blood incompatibility jaundice as a newborn. There was a phase where umbilical blood testing would provide unreliable results when the blood types of mother and child clashed.
• If you don't have a result yet, try donating blood when you get an opportunity, preferably at a donation run by the Red Cross or a similarly-sized player. (Trade in donated blood has become a business lately, the RC won't badger you to donate again if you don't want to.)

Whatever else you do, find a well-shadowed spot and put a pile of snow as high as you can get into it. You might be having snow(balls) for weeks after everyone else's snow melted away.

mostly I stay away from snow, but going to school in norway, doing snow stuff is unavoidable. with my (ex-)classmates I have
- made a snow cave and spent a night in it
- under an assignment to make "something fun for kids", we made a snow-groke

(next year they listened to my idea and helped me make a labyrinth. snow labyrinths are the actual best and I'm pretty good at making them)

Snowy Tas looks really pretty, and you need skis for all the big hills.  Or get a trashcan lid and use it as a sled!  ...  Just don't break any bones.  ...  Or organs.  ... or property.  Basically find a hill with nothing nearby anywhere ever.
