A funny thing happened on Thursday.
... Texas ... is a mystique closely approximating a religion. And this is true to the extent that people either passionately love Texas or passionately hate it....

@Solovei I think she was more grossed out by the implications of the scene than the actual visual scene, since she paused the movie when she saw that and whispered "no, whyyy" in a very horrified manner. And sadly Hinata cosplayers always kind of irk me because their hair looks so weird and unnatural.

*goes to work* "haha I'm sure I won't be put on utensil polishing duty two days in a ro-"
"Oh, hi. You can go polish today again."
*INTERNAL SCREAMING*

during these four hours brain tends to go in loops and loops like "all shiny and chrome! shiny and chrome" shinyandchromeshinyandchrone let me die and go to valhalla"
but it wasn't all bad, today I had eaten more than just some dried cranberries for breakfast so I didn't spend four hours starving. It also helped that my coworker/fellow trainee had some conversational "I'm going to cry"s.

oooohhh and I'm off to Krumlov in a few hours, too! And i'm spending the night there. It'll be an adventure, whooo
you'll know where to find me.

Oh my god, you poor soul, haha. At least you get that weird triumphant, satisfied feeling when all the utensils are squeaky clean?
And ooh, where's Krumlov? Are you exploring some dark, mysterious city by yourself?

Krumlov's at south there, circled with "concert" (BLACKMORE'S NIGHT!!!! ultimate cliche trash I love them). I don't think it's dark and mysterious, it's actually on Unesco's list of protected places or something. I've actually already been at the beer brewery there, ages ago. I think I have an unused bottle cap to prove it in some drawer at home.

I repeat my earlier, polishing stuff is the most boring thing in existence, be it polishing with a machine or with chemicals. At least the former comes with an actual possibility of going to Valhalla if you let your concentration drop too much, possibly as the first einherji with kitchen utensils logged in the face.

oh no that's the worst

I actually had to buy another set at one point because I lost a lot of them (leaving me with only one 005 and 08 right now, which makes me so nervous because they're my favorite ones) ;__;

Ooh, old places, that's even lovelier. And utensil duty sounds terrible, in retrospect, hope you won't get it again anytime soon, haha.

What's a micron pen?
It's a drawing pen, like a marker or a sharpie, with a teeny tiny drawing tip.

Oh hey, I've used those before! Smooth is the word for them, they draw beautifully, I just was always too skittish to draw in pen...
