(I also had this weird thought that Haiz kinda looks like Joy)
I have yet to see inside out, so *googles* .... ok that is not actually too far off O__O give her glasses and you might have a likeness. IF ONLY MY HAIR WAS BLUE

to be fair, if I embodied an emotion it would probably "lies-down-on-floor"

Speaking of emotions, today I went to the Hiroshima peace museum.

On a completely unrelated note, Haiz, all your stories of what goes on behind the scenes at a hotel have really made me appreciate the staff and everything they do for us as guests when we stay at a hotel. So thank you to all people who work as hotel staff, I am grateful for what you do.
Some years ago I was at an event where a Hiroshima survivor told her story and... I get teary-eyed just thinking about it. She was so old and scarred and had gone through so many things and so much hurt and even then she spoke about how important it was that we all love eachother and be kind and I'm pretty sure I cried.

I love sunsets so much

also yes I share your sentiment, I had no idea how much there is 'behind the scenes' on a hotel. I notice it now, whenever I get back to my room and I know exactly what has been done that I usually wouldn't notice, and I know that's only one of the steps... speaking of, I just spent an hour cleaning plants. they were dusty

Also speaking of Haiz, up until someone mentioned that they had come up with a rhyming nickname for hir (Haiz the Maze, I think?) I had thought that hir name was pronounced H-aye-z, heh. I have this habit of returning to Malay pronunciation tricks when I see a word I don't know how to pronounce, sorry. P:
Nooo need to be sorry, I don't have a proper pronounciation for it, I accept "haze", "heights", "haeez", and... pretty much anything. That's what I get for butchering a foreign name I don't know the pronounciation of that I picked out on the internet as a fourteen year old

And how would a Malayan pronounce my nickname I wonder.

oh and I'll be at the reception next week?? I have no idea what will happen just yet but whoo change of scenery

Give 'em all a warm welcome, Admiral Olsen style.

I had to make a brief retreat back indoors. Today it's pretty much 28-30 degrees celcius outside along the entire Midwest-Coast - in other words too hot to live. It's blowing a lot outside too but for some cruel reason the wind actually feels hotter than the local temperature.

EDIT:
ok dang it all to hell but my radio is about twelve years old so here is why i am asking
Did something happen to CD disk size between 2004 and 2015
because honestly
it might be too thin to work
And i am going to break something
(possibly the twelve year old radio)

No, the size should be precisely the same (within reason).  It does no good to alter the dimensions of a standard format as it just causes compatibility issues.  There are exceptions of course, such as minidisks, but I'm guessing you would realise if that was what you had on your hands.

I tried two CDS from when I was like 7 and they still work, so my radio isn't broken, and I really did test the old CDs and it feels??? like its thicker than the one I used but and the radio says " No disc" when I put the new CD in but it's still getting spun and everything so I really have no idea what that means. And it still registers CD's with nothing on them as CD's it doesn't say "no Disc".

I'm just really confused.

It's not the CD it's self it is how the information is stored on the CDs now. Your old CD player can't read the new storage style and can't play them

Whatever you do, do not kill it

Bees are cool and handy creatures unlike wasps.

...midwest coast of which country? my parents have been complaining about trondheim having it's coldest summer in 90 years

They need to get real, the forecast says 27 degrees in Trondheim too.

Hordaland is in the centre of the meltdown though. The natives are going "praise Helios!", the Easterners "just like home" while the Northerners are all making tea pot-noises as the sizzle and breath steam.

Wasps are down right terrifying.
Only when there are hundreds of them breathing down your neck.
