That and the fact that in addition to meaning easygoing friendship, my handle is also sometimes a girl's name.

But then, "Moon Unit" is also sometimes a girl's name.  At least for certain girls.

I originally wanted to rotate between avatars.  I have a whole bunch of "what would X do?" clip art, but it turns out that's not the way the site works -- when you change your picture in one place it changes it everywhere, even on old posts.  Sad.

I have been mistaken for a male person a few times, but not quite so much on here (since my avatar is both probably-female and not a screencap).

I quit guessing a long ago, besides it doesn't even really matter. The people behind the nicks won't change this way or that no matter which gender they are. For me, I'm usually easily (and accurately) read as female but I did have one strange occasion of a person mistaking me for a crossdressing male while cosplaying Belarus of Hetalia...
