Will some of you be in Ottawa during this summer ? You may have a chance to see the amazing and beautiful Long-Ma. I must admit I'm sad to miss it, I'll go in Nantes in July and I really hoped to have a chance to see the dragon-horse for real <3

The weather is so muggy that I might consider taking a shower, despite this so funny absence of hot water. I'm not ready for summer temperatures at all.

I really love cold showers in summer, honestly. Though it's better when you have an actual choice of it.

When I was at the Burn a week and a half back, it was so hot and muggy that cold showers during the day were a blessing.

I just really wanted to mention somewhere on the forum that I had a cup of juniper tea today. It was pretty good, really reminded me of cedar tea. Except the time I had cedar tea I literally just snipped some branches off of a cedar tree and boiled that in water. But like, the juniper tea actually came from the store in tea bags. My mouth kinda tastes like an evergreen tree right now and I like it. I mean gin and tonic is usually my go-to when I actually go out for a reason

Juniper I bet the gin, without the tonic would go very well with the Juniper tea, hmm on further thought, the tonic might add just a little zip to the drink. So juniper tea, with gin and some tonic. They just opened a Whole Foods about 8 minutes away from me, I'll have to see what they have...

allright so i've arrived at my workplace! i start actual work tomorrow, but i did get to meet most if not all of my coworkers. all this time people have mistaken my saying "i'm going to finnmark for a summer job" people hear it as finland, and i'm like nonono finnmark, that's still norway. turns out all of my coworkers are finnish, though. so maybe they were right after all.

also, I learnt that i have a half-finnish toddler cousin named Ville.

Well, gin was originally designed as a medicine, so I guess people just came to enjoy the taste. I'd rather chew juniper berries (or use them to season roast goose).
