Good on you! I used to do so, but since I've had malaria and dengue fever they won't take my blood anymore, and Australia now has an age limit for donors.

They won't take my blood. I spent too long in the UK as a kid and my bodily fluids might be swimming with dangerous mad cow prions.

I would love to donate blood, but every time they come to my school they raise the lower weight limits such that I could donate if I had before, but the first-time limit is heavier than me. TAKE MY BLOOD DAMMIT.

In other news, today was my last day of high school. So remember how like a month ago I was on here like "ok im done just get me out of here i don't need to still be at school i have everything i need to graduate"? I spent all of today like "crap nope abort abort I'm not leaving nope never nope nope nope nope" and it was unpleasant.

Congrats, Noodly! Also hugs (if you don't mind), because I felt exactly the same way when I graduated. In my experience, though, college had a lot better of an atmosphere than my high school did. Of course all schools are different, but I'm confident you'll do just fine :)

And I have the same problem with donating blood. Though in my state it's that the minimum weight for people under a certain age is higher, and I don't consistently make that weight. I'm not a huge fan of needles, though, so I'm a bit relieved to not have to face a moral-vs-personal-comfort dilemma!

CongraduationsCongratulations Noodly! I hope you'll start to enjoy having graduated soon enough.

So, because I'm an idiot I sorta tripped over my laptop cord earlier and a small 1x1 cm piece broke off of the tip and got lodged in my computer. ::) Miraculously, I can still shove (most of)the rest of the cord in there around the fallen part and it works to charge the laptop.

OK OK SO MY FRIEND IS VALEDICTORIAN AND I HAVE SPENT THE WHOLE LAST TWO WEEKS TRYING TO CONVINCE HER TO PUT THAT PUN IN HER SPEECH *cough* sorry but yes thank you. I think i will, it's just that high school was really nice for me and my school is good and has a lot of friendly people. :P
