i think........ my first work week is over........ i have a single free day tomorrow and it'll be great. im going to sleep and draw. that's all i've planned to do.

today's main Thing that happened was. the Customer Lady Incident. it happened right after i drank my... not-entirely-coffee thing (3/4 milk, 1/8 sugar, 1/8 actually coffee) and it was still early morning, i was being charismatic about the waffles because YES DO TRY THE WAFFLES THEY ARE DELICIOUS and she was like "oh, she's cute!" to her husband. what i'm saying is that all those things factored into my already high risk of being WEIRD AND AWKWARD for no reason at all.

"eh, it's a finnish thing. i'm not entirely sure what they do because i've had like five different answers to that, so i'm just thinking finns are weird and mysterious."

SO YEAH AFTER SHE CALLED ME CUTE AND I INSULTED BOTH HER NATIONALITY AND HOMELAND,, she wasn't even mad at me and kept talking to me and it turns out her,, daughter?? wen't to my high school?? in the class above me?? SMALL WORLD HUH. she also asked why this place is so touristy and i tried to explain about nordkapp and what's there, and to explain the monument - i could have grabbed like any souvenir or one of the fifty fridge magnets to show the nordkapp globe thing, but no. i just stretched out the part of my t-shirt that has a teeeeny tiny globe monument drawing on it. not awkward at all. a++ handling of customer with elegance and I'M JUST GLAD I'M CHARISMATIC AND CUTE OK

Haiz, sleeping and drawing all day sounds good. Whenever I'm having to do things that include dealing with the public I get all weird and awkward too. Example: Doing sign-ups for the summer reading program at the library, and a lady comes up,
Her: Is this the summer reading program?
Me: Are you signing up?
Her: Well, yeah *laughs*
Me: Oh! Uh, yes well yes this is it. The place. *waves hands around* Here is the book and uhhh (explains very falteringly how to sign up)

There was also that time that I went to get my hair cut and the lady asked me what I wanted her to do and I very intelligently responded that I wanted it cut.

Double H, this is very much not annoying. This is good. This is also about how fast I imagined the Cat Tank going.
