Take me on a magic carpet ride
through flood and dark
to the other side
where adventure waits.
Let me not say
i wish i was elsewhere but here.
Let me say
what comes to pass will make me stronger
and the people i walk with, my brothers.

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale,
A tale of a fateful trip,
That started from this Danish port,
A cat tank for a ship.
The mage was a cat in human form,
The Swede had magic hair,
If not for the driving of a little Finn,
The crew would go nowhere.
The broken bridge began to fail,
The mecha-cat was tossed,
Not by skill but just dumb luck,
Kept them from being lost.
Their task is fairly simple
But harder than it looks:
Avoid the giants, beasts and trolls
And get the pricey books
No cat, no food, no salary,
Few bare necessities,
All to lift the veil of fear,
And archaeology.
So come with our five misfits
Into the Silent World,
With Tuuri,
The Captain too,
The Sparkly Swede with the bombs,
The farmer/healer and the mage...
And maybe someone else too?

He walks among the stars
He saw their secrets shine
Young mage come forth now
Reach out and take what's thine
He sees among the shadows
He pierced the veil of light
Young mage come forth now
Reach out and set things right
For you hold the gift of gods
Of the spirits and the dead
So remember well
The price we paid
So that here you might tread
He talks in silent tongues
He heard the things they say
Young mage come forth now
Reach out and show the way
He listens to the old song
He heard it in the frost
Young mage come forth now
Reach out and help the lost
For you hold the gift of gods
Of the spirits and the dead
So remember well
The price we paid
So that here you might tread
He treads in hidden brooks
He looked within the cave
Young mage come forth now
Remember what we gave?
You listened to the old song
You pierced the veil of light
Young mage we ask now
That you help set things right
For you hold the gift of gods
That much will always be true
So a gift we ask
For what we gave
It's all we ask of you

Laili had a glowing knife,
Laili had to fight for life.
Laili fought an icky moose,
Laili shook that troll-thing loose,

They seek it here, they seek it there,
It’s never loud, but be aware:
It will take and break you in a way that you'll detest,
'Cause it's a dedicated monster in that fashion.
And when it lays its little traps,
'Round all the dreams off all the maps,
Eagerly pursuing the unwary to the death,
'Cause it's a dedicated monster in that fashion.
Oh yes it is (oh yes it is), oh yes it is (oh yes it is).
It thinks Lalli’s a flower to be plucked up,
And when it wraps its frilly kelp-like mantle round him tight,
It feels a dedicated monster in that fashion.
