I just finished a self-portrait that took 12 hours to draw. It came out really good so I want to share it here:

Lovely work! I really like the shading! :)

My Inktober sketches, #2 & 3:

They're AU versions of two of my OCs. (although the first one I think is ambiguous enough that it could be canon, but don't mind me)

Oh mygodohmy godohmygod I love inktober so much. just. yessssss. All of your art is so good wow

Speaking of, I chose to do a study of van Gogh's 'Vase with Pink Roses' as a part of my art coursework and coincidentally it was done in dipping pen and india ink. Because of that and because it took me a couple hours than a normal A4 sized piece would, I thought I may as well post it here.

I welcome constructive criticism - I have a lot of improving to do before I'm at the level that you are all at and I want to get there someday, hopefully!

Piney and mithrysc, your inktobers are REALLY GREAT
everything here is really great

i'm here to dump off some Arts again i guess, from my might-as-well-be-doing-inktober drawing spree

(rosemaster from cucumber quest, and edward elric from fullmetal alchemist because it was october 3rd)

i also drew this horrible meme as my first cucumber quest fanart and i'm oddly satisfied with it

you'll know where to find me.

This one really, really intrigues me *-*

My entire thought process for this creature:
"Keys are nice."
"Antlers are nice."
"Hey, antlers can be used like hooks for hanging things."

Haaaaa, it's been a long time ! :D

Somehow I find it really strange that it's been a year, and that I was the only person on the forum doing inktober then...

And Viola and Haiz, thank you!

I admire your dedication with all that linework. *squints at her tiny inked pieces*

And since you asked: right now the contrast between the flowers and some of the leaves is a bit low, particularly around the three flowers that form a curving line near the middle of the piece, but nothing that a little more hatching can't solve.
