I have had the privilege of participating in this year's Tolkien Reverse Summer Bang and have art to share. For those unfamiliar with the event, in May artists put up art (anything from sketches to completed pieces) in a variety of media, with specifications of what conditions they desire for a collaboration. Writers then vie (first come, first served) to claim which arts they pledge to write a 5000-word fic for. The artists and writers then spend the (northern) summer honing their collaboration, with the result released early in September. There is scope for any fandom within the greater Tolkien universe.
With reveals happening earlier today, I can now share with you my finished art piece. I had just a vague idea and a sketch back in May, and my conditions specified that I wanted an author who could give this dwarf a story, and my author delivered.
