How I personally think the portraits should be ordered.
Now Mikkel and Sigrun are looking to each other, Onni is worried ("This is going wrong but I can't stop her from going into the Silent World") looking to excited Tuuri ("Silent World here I come, eee!"), Emil and Lalli are next to each other (Lalli is blinded by the sight of Emil's bright hair) and Reynir is next to his beloved kitty.

Ohhhh! I was thinking of doing something similar X) except I would put Tuuri in-between Mikkel and Sigrun because, I dunno :/ That would change the feeling of their gazes to something like "I'm glad to see someone so excited, except it's not all sparkles and rainbows out there, and they don't know...but they're excited" or something like that, which I thought was interesting. But I also like how their gazes match with each others as well.
I totally agree with Emil and then Lalli because of the light thing as well XD it's just so funny to think that Emil's hair light has escaped his portrait and is now bothering poor Lalli... (or the 'photographers' wanted to give Lalli similar lighting and he was just like "no" and they're like "never mind this is perfect GeoFF taKE THE PICTURE") I would probably put Onni by himself ;_; But alternatively I might put him on the right of Tuuri because she's looking outwards, all bright, and he's looking the other way with his back to the light u_u
And i also like Reynir next to Kitty,,,, because.... they both have really spooky stares going on... or at least that how it looks to me XD
if i turned a corner and was suddenly face to face with his portrait i would probably scream like it was a ghost I'm so sorry X'D so many options o__o
