My novel runs on dialouge. Mostly one of the characters explaining things about reality to the other one. They are so weird people. How did they get inside my head and decide to refuse half my plot?

Hmph. At least your characters have never completely changed your plot to an unrecognizable thing *glares at one of her characters*

That's because they're not fully developed yet. They're so pointless at times.

I try hard on dialogues because all time descriptions are a bit dull. But I fear I have to cencor some of the words used. Some are more modest due to translation (I am not always able to find an appropriate translation on "your moma" insults.) I limit them to short paragraphs, still they are kind of frustrating. I'm realising how used I got to this rough talking all the time.

Good dialogue is a great thing, and hard to write, too. I'm trying hard to write some more dialogues, because most of my story so far is descriptions, thoughts and dreams... and I guess that won't be too much fun to read. And I couldn't really work on catching up with my word count yet - I hope for tomorrow...

Eeeeeh! They read my thing!

Anyway, I wrote absolutely nothing but dialogue for this. No descriptions, no internal explanation, just spoken words. It's so easy for me.

That...basically sums up my story, too. Plus lots of wandering.

Argh, I missed the write-in again. Maybe next next time.

Yes! I heard "ThisCat", my first reaction was "Finally!", the other was giggling like mad ;D

Just spoken words is incredibly easy. Don't you love it? I sure do. But it doesn't boost word count by much... so I added in a few descriptions ("he growled", "she sat up", etc, just three words can boost your count by a lot).

I know. I could easily write half a chapter with 90% of the text within ""s, but that gets confusing to read after a while, so I try to tell the reader what the characters are doing as well.

Hmmm, I'm curious, what was your character's reaction to "How long have you been standing there?"?

(Mine just said something along the lines of "Long enough for the sun to get from that tree to that other tree, how long is that?")

"Oh, just a few minutes." Not very exciting I guess.

Could we possibly do another 15 min. wordsprint? It helps me out a bit, and I'm currently stuck in not having any words.

25 it is. Doubt I'll get far on the first one, but I'm trying to force down the writer's block.
