Lol, that smile is perfect.
It's like Gilderoy Lockhart's.

Edit:  I can't stop listening to Pirates of the Caribbean music now!

Hmmmm, I'd be more worried if you found Mr Barry Morgan sexy, so, no. ;P

Nah.  Passion is almost always sexy (as long as it's not over something like duct tape, or concrete.  Music is nice and romantic/mysterious).

Hmmmm, I'd be more worried if you found Mr Barry Morgan sexy, so, no. ;P
The whole time I was watching that video, I was trying to imagine who he is at home, off the tv screen.  He seems like he'd be a fun bloke.

And gosh Jónsi.....I haven't listened to any of his new songs lately, but that one is now my new favorite!! :D

It directly jumped to the top of my favourites list when I heard it, too :D

And of course Emil is charming all the time~ There's no way for him not to be.

Ha!  Love it!  I think we've found our Emil!  (BTW, I saw your "baskerville old face" command.  Will BBC really accommodate other typefaces besides the 10 on the Simple Machines Forum menu?)
(Answer:  Yes, it handles Palatino, one of my favorite typefaces, other than Gill Sans!)

Wow, I never stop finding great things on this forum.  Who or what is Jonsi?  Would I have heard anything else of his/theirs?  (I gather Jonsi did soundtracks for "How to Train Your Dragon," which I haven't seen but probably should.)

We totally have ;)

I've a suspicion that BBC code can handle any font that your computer has installed. Don't quote me on that, though, I haven't looked into it properly. Should handle basic fonts, though.

Jónsi is an Icelandic composer/musician, and he's done soundtracks for both How to Train Your Dragon movies as well as for We Bought A Zoo. He used to (or still does, can't remember) play in a band, but I've only listened to his solo music. I think most of his stuff is up on Spotify, if you use that. And yes, if you have the time and opportunity, you probably should watch the How to Train Your Dragon films, haha. They are beautiful :)

This is, also, why I am not that active on tumblr. I keep an art blog, that's it. It's also to like posts by cool artists. But that. is. it. I feel my brain melting if I'm on there too long.

I just finished listening to an amazing musician while leafing through vids on a site I like, and it reminded me of Minna's comics so strongly that I have to share it with everyone here.

Aaaah I just realised I never shared anything of my most favourite band in the entire world (so far at least), Kaizer's Orchestra. (Translation of lyrics)

Ah, why not. I'll share another. Sekskløver and translation.

In a slightly different vein, some elegant ambient music (but sill good for drawing). The song titles make a poem-ish thing, which is really cool.

This is right up my alley.  In fact, I'll probably be putting this on my ipod pretty soon.
Thanks for the recommendation!
EDIT:  This is pretty much as good as Helios.  Like 99.999% as good as freaking Helios.  Thanks a bunch for showing me this; it's awesome.

Something similar to that is the band This Will Destroy You.  One of their songs, "Quiet," is pretty good.  The ending is a little intense, but I like it.

Does anyone know any good balalaika music? I'm writing something that revolves around said instrument and I would like some more than the most obvious ones in Youtube.

Would anybody be interested in having a cultural exchange with music? Like everybody would list few of the most famous songs from their country, what's popular right now, what kind of folk music there is, or anthems and so on...  And there could be short explanations and random facts added.

I could make list for Finland, if there is any interest. :)
