wavewright, I have had cats do that too.

(I didn't have a camera. But my guess is that your phone was in a reachable pocket.)

His name is Jack and yes he is a dog that travels all around the world with us! He has been to Finland, Sweden, Norway, France, Estonia and United States, though he was born in a tiny town in Russia ;D Since we had to move to the US we took him with us on a plane, which was... interesting. However, he is a nice friend and almost my little brother :reynir:

Very cute pets. Our cats, Gil and Agatha, are very clever at finding shady spots in the searing Australian summers. Whereas the lizards that inhabit my garden, not pets but more commensals, like to bask in the sun on days when I would get heatstroke if I tried that. Those lizards do earn their keep - although they eat some of the fruit and flowers from my strawberries and muntries, and the big bluetongues and stumpytails will jump up or scramble into the lower branches of the bushes to reach ripe gooseberries or blueberries, the lizards nevertheless also eat a lot of locusts, caterpillars, snails and slugs and other pest creatures, so on the balance they are useful.

I am baby-sitting my daughter's cockatiel while she is away, and we are having a lovely time together.  I send my daughter her Daily Pikachu, such as these:


We get along well and have worked out times when Pikachu can have cage time while I open up the windows, and social times outside the cage,

I am going to need to rent a carpet cleaner when this is over, though.  I try to keep up but, yeah....  O_O

Oooh! You have a cockatiel, Wave! I love cockatiels! I used to have one, but he had to stay in Russia, so he lives with my grandma now. His name is Kichi. He used to wake me up in the mornings by sitting on my head and quietly talking into my ear :'D ^-^
Yours looks so cute! Mine is colored as his wild relatives, grey with light-yellow head and coral-red spots on the cheeks. ;D
