This is my stepmom's cat, not mine, but boy was she making some ridiculous poses today:

Wow, what beautiful coloring. And at least she looks comfortable. ;) Our dog would wedge himself in the tiniest corner of the sofa just so that he could nap against your shin. Or he'd lie under the rocker arm chair so that you couldn't lean back for fear of crushing him (and this on the day we brought him home!).

D'aww, sounds like a sweet dog :) Funny thing is, this cat had half the sofa to sprawl out on, yet she rolls into the corner ::)

Yes, exactly! Our dog was so gung-ho about physical contact that if he was sleeping against your leg and you shuffled over to, say, the right, he'd shuffle after you-in his sleep! He was a crazy little furball, I still rather hate the vet for not running the tests we tried to order (we ultimately had to give him up because of mounting examination bills- $3000 in two months for x-rays and food was rather too much for us to stomach). :(

So cute!  But such an intense stare -- it's like PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL IS WATCHING YOU.

Oh yes - she's one of those cats who thinks they have authority over humans. It's also funny since she's a very small cat. :D

Oh gosh, what a cutie!!

She's a sweetie, too, when she's not being a bother. Just a few minutes ago she was lying on the couch cushion next to me, and twice plopped her head into my hand so I could scratch her chin :D

I've got snail as a pet!

Her name is Verdandy, and she likes eating apples, pears and bananas. Now she's eating pear on one of my glass pictures when I'm adding fresh ground in the aquarium. *girl on the picture doesn't seem very glad*

That's quite original. At least it won't run away from you easily. Did you know that snails without gills are hermaphrodites by the way.

Yes, I know about it. I prefer to use 'she', because in Russian 'snail' is feminine gender noun, and I just can't call my pet 'it'.

Oh wow I never realized this thread was here before !

Anyway, my roommate's cat is great, she's a sweet precious lil baby, except she's only really affectionate with me while my roommate's at work >:c usually I get up a few hours after he leaves for work and it's really obvious that she's very upset about having to be without pets for those few hours.

She also has this weird thing where she doesn't really meow, she only chirps which is super cute. One time she did that thing cats do where when they're very happy about pets they flop around from side to side, except she was doing this on the edge of my bed and accidentally flopped off it and her reaction was to chirp at my bed x3

Actually something similar happened where one time I was at my cousin's house petting one of their cats while she was on the mantle above their fireplace and was flopping around from side to side but accidentally flopped off the mantle. Except when she started to fall my first reaction was to try to catch her which was a bad idea because she ended up just gouging my arm which made me pull away and she ended up landing on the floor just fine like she probably would have if I hadn't tried to catch her =/

Agatha and Gilgamesh atop a haybale in front of a peach tree. Agatha is the fluffy one, Gil is much bigger and a shorthair, but they are littersibs.

Agatha on the fence on an early Spring day, with a blossoming peach in the background, and an Asafoetida bud behind us (that's the big triffid-looking green thing).
