You Know You're an aRTD Addict When...

I know there are a few other hardcore aRTD fans out there, so please, don't leave me alone in this thread!


...when you know the names of all the secondary characters.

...when you know that Jonna is the girl and Joona is the boy, and you're quick to correct anyone who gets them wrong.

...when you can't see a girl with red curly hair and not think of Paju.

...when you dream that there was an aRTD animated series, and you spent most of your dream having a fangirl attack.

...when in said dream you tried to convince everyone to watch it with you, and your family kept rolling their eyes at your enthusiasm.

...when the whole series was in finnish, and you had ANOTHER fangirl attack.

...when Hannu had brown hair in the series, and you spent a long time ranting about how inaccurate that was.

For what it is worthy, I think that ARtD would make a great TellTale-style game.

-When there are under 10 fanworks in the aRTD section on ao3 and almost all of them were posted by you. /coughs

-When you have two aRTD stories in the works and at least three on the drawing board and you keep getting ideas and it's wonderful but also a little distressing.

-When you keep gushing about it in your journal/blog/etc, in hopes that your friends will read it, because you know it's very relevant to their interests but at the same time you don't want to be too pushy.

-When you love, love, love Hannu even though he's a total jerk (and in fact that's part of why you love him)

When the ONLY ONE fanfiction you have EVER written is aRTD (but it is probably never seeing sunlight because it is terrible).

...When you discover that "It has a cute dog in it!" is the perfect way to get some of your friends to give in and finally read aRTD, and you decide to remember this for the future, in order to use it to your advantage.

...When you ask your friends to draw you aRTD fanart even though they haven't actually read it and only know it via osmosis from you. *Not recommended unless you know they're cool with drawing from canons they're unfamiliar with, of course.
