I've been waiting for Daéa to post that Paju/Hannu fanart, because there is a short fic in response to it.

Since it's just tiny, I'll put it here under a spoiler. Or you can view it with the fanart together on tumblr here.

Spoiler: show

Nitpicks and Particulars

"Here, let me fix that."

Hannu's hand went to the scarf at his throat. He frowned at Paju, taking in the stern, stubborn way she held herself. Every time. Without fail, every time.

"There's nothing wrong with it," he said, knowing that he should know better than to protest, but protesting anyway.

"It's tied unevenly. Again." She stepped up to him, batted his hand away, and began to untie it. She wasn't going to have any arguments about it, not that she ever did. "Honestly, Hannu, you're twenty-four years old. You should know how to dress yourself by now."

He certainly didn't feel twenty-four, standing there like a little boy getting his scarf tied by his mother. "I can dress myself just fine."

"You obviously can't. And don't roll your eyes at me."

Every time the same thing, Hannu thought. And yet –

Maybe he didn't mind all that much. Maybe.

!!!!!!!!!

THIS IS AMAZING!!

I love it so much! Thank you!! ;__;

I don't know who have the most of my empathy and encouragements...

I would suggest directing the empathy to anyone within a ten-mile radius of these two. ;p Though that applies for most situations, I would say!

Time for another fic-dump! : D A bit of a backlog, because I was too lazy to crosspost, so some people might have seen these already. 's mostly for record-keeping's sake. The third one is new, though!

All romance this time; sorry, gen fans. I have two genfics in the works right now, but it'll be a while before they're done.
Speaking of which, while I'm technically not open for requests right now, I make an exception for aRTD, so... if any of you have ideas for gen fics that you want me to write, feel free to drop it in my askbox or contact post or message me here on the forum. Even if it involves characters I haven't written before, I can give it a try. Though it'll be like a month or two before I get around to writing anything based on suggestions.

01. "Moth". 0+, 560 words, Jonna/Hannu. Set a few years before canon.
Summary: This relationship isn't what she's after, but for now, it's good enough.
On Ao3: http://archiveofourown.org/works/5685532
Dreamwidth backup: http://roesslyng.dreamwidth.org/61898.html

02. "Coffee in the Morning". 13+, 1.4k, Joona/Hannu. Set a few years before canon.
Summary: Joona isn't quite sure what to call this thing that they have together. But whatever it is, it's just fine.
On Ao3: http://archiveofourown.org/works/5996194
Dreamwidth backup: http://roesslyng.dreamwidth.org/63764.html

03. "In Closed Position". 0+, 4k, Paju/Hannu. Both pre-canon and post-canon.
Summary: Paju hears that Hannu knows how to dance, and asks (or demands) that he teach her. And strangely enough, he doesn't mind....

What an excellent morning, nothing to do, good coffee and three new Yuu fics! Coffee in the Morning would, coincidentally, be a favourite, early mornings when the air is cold are my favourites and I could practically feel it through the writing.

I really liked this one! I always wondered if Hannu would carry through with that.

I feel like I need to post more genfic to make up for all the shippy nonsense that I posted earlier in the month. ;p Anyway -

"Winter Blues". 10+. 4k. Jonna, Joona, & Hannu; from Jonna's POV. Gen/No pairing. Set a handful of years before canon.
Summary: Hannu is gone from work for a few days, claiming to be sick. Jonna and Joona decide to pay him an unannounced visit.
Note: This one deals with implied seasonal affective disorder (in addition to being an otherwise standard comfort sickfic).

Dreamwidth backup: http://roesslyng.dreamwidth.org/65477.html

Aaaand an unrelated thing - if anybody is writing (or planning to write) aRTD stuff and would like to have a proofreader, I'm always willing to lend a hand with the typo-catching and whatnot. (I'll also give you all the encouragement one could ever ask for, if that'll sweeten the deal. ;p )

So...I'm doing the 100 fics prompt challenge, and somehow that's led to my first ever aRTD fic. It's a fluffy little thing with Hannu and Ville (which I think of as shippy, but might not strike everyone that way.) Anyway, here it is.
Languages: :usa: (native) :mexico: (conversational but out of practice) :germany: (attempting to learn)
