This is an absolute truth, very rare foreign words survive the Icelandic language... and even they're not safe. Pizza's been one such loan word that people thought would last but recently the Icelandic version, flatbaka, has actually become more popular (possibly because it sounds silly but that's beside the point).
What does that even say about Sigrun as a character.
