Can people please explain to me why the News section states "The Moon is actually made out of French vanilla ice cream"?

I'm sticking this on the general discussion thread because I figure it's most likely to be seen here:

I'm currently in the process of planning a SSSS fanfic about a Muslim family living in Mora a few years before the comic's set. I was just wondering if there are any Muslim members of the forum who might be willing to help me out with it? After all, internet resources are all well and good but first-hand experience is always going to be better!

The only way to deal with that kind of nonsense is the Icelandic "is this not a jeep"-approach: take a shortcut through the middle. Remember to use an actual jeep or the magic might not work.
