Somewhere around the 10 to 20C range seems good to me. It was 39C here today, which is hotter than I like. But we get extremes, which is part of why gardening is so hard. Well, that and lack of water! Hottest we've had since I've lived here was 47.something C, coldest was a bit below -12C, cold enough to burst water pipes. Because we're up toward where the desert starts, we get extremes.

Hmm... I joined the forum on April 15th last year, so two more months and I'll be a one year old member! Yay! \o\
I actually started reading aRTD on March 4th in 2013 (I know that because I wrote on my journal how I was neglecting my studies over an awesome webcomic that I couldn't stop reading), and I lurked the comment section for a looooong time.

*high fives fellow lurker veteran Gwenno* ;D

*belatedly high fives back!

Also good to see you back Fimby ^_^ I was happy enough to see your return that you got a Fimby-Yes vote from me two days in a row :3 (Don't expect it to happen again any time in the near future however)

Hahah, wow some of you guys have ridiculous weather! Weather is pretty decent over here, around the 10C maybe, probably a bit lower? The thing about winters in Japan is not the temperature (remaining around 0 at it's lowest) but the moisture level, which is ridiculously dry in comparison to the UK (where moisture has never been a problem :P). It gets so bad that people have constantly running humidifiers in their houses and workplaces to stop them from getting nosebleeds and having their skin dry out! I always thought that the anime trope of 'ridiculously easy nosebleeds at any provocation' was just that - a trope, but it appear that there may be some truth to it  :o I am continuously humbled by these new discoveries........

Looks like I've got plenty of options if I ever decide to do something crazy and leave this frozen wasteland. Excellent.

please try not to die.

Don't worry mate, I got this. Layers and layers and a beaver fur hat (it is so warm oh my god). I won't die, I promise. ;p

On that note, I think I caught my friend's cold... why now. Why. I managed to stay cold-free this entire winter. Why now. *mumbles something about taking a water boiler to the library to nurse tea after tea*
*furiously ignores the tell-tale itch in the throat*

Oh, eew. Tea and more tea sounds like a good plan. With honey in it, yes. < 3

As to that, there's this little place at the northern tip of Honshu called Misawa-shi, in Aomori-ken. It's at the same latitude as NYC and has a very similar climate - 40C+ summers with 90% humidity (and no a/c because "the local power grid is too fragile") and winters with 4 - 5 meters of snowfall average. I lived there for 2 years, so I remember it well.

I was reminded that Fimby.no exists, and I thought I'd share the state it was in after pushing a button.

Yey! Someone finally noticed what I've done. *getting it to 50/50 was my pet project for a couple of months*

In other news I have started watching D.Gray-man and I'm nearly finished. . . oops.
