Heh, same! If you'd told me when I joined that in less than a year I'd have hundreds of posts and tens of fanfics under my belt I'd have laughed you out of the room...

Same here! I'd actually been reading since earlyish in A Redtail's Dream', but it took me until April last year to get on Disqus and the Forum, mostly because I couldn't make the computer obey me. This is still my only forum anywhere. I'd never read or written fanfic before getting mixed up with this mad lot. Also I used to be quite a silent person when I didn't have anything important to say. Now you can't shut me up!

Me too. I remember thinking I'd never get to 100 posts.

When I joined, there was games going on... the 100 posts was easy but responsibilities that fight against being neglected make it anything but easy to get to the 2000 XD

Ah, that moment when you're at the busiest airport in Scandinavia on the busiest day of the week, almost through the massive queue at the security scan ... and you realise you have a 0.9 litre bottle of water, nowhere to get rid of it, and no time to jump out of the queue.

Ah, that moment when you're at the busiest airport in Scandinavia, almost through the massive queue at the security scan ... and you realise you have a 0.9 litre bottle of water, nowhere to get rid of it, and no time to jump out of the queue.

They probably have a bin at the head of the security line for just that purpose.

On the other hand, if you're at CPH, you could just leave the queue and go to say hi to the SSSS gang at Amelienborg

I joined the forum last May, but I don't remember the exact date when I started reading SSSS (I should have marked it in the calendar!). It was a few days after the language tree.
All I remember I finished reading around 2 or 3 a.m. and I had work on the following day

I started reading about mid april of last year. I can't believe it's almost been a year. Wow. This comic has been probably one of the best discoveries of my life.

I started reading regularly around Dec 2014, chap 5 I think, and read backwards and forwards from there, but didn't get into the forums until April 2015.

I actually started reading right around New Year's :p took a while for me to muster up the courage to be social, actually! Then i waited a while to start posting because I was going through the art museum ahahahaa

Man... I remember that I lurked around for a few weeks before joining/posting. I'm used to Livejournal/Dreamwidth based fandom, which is an entirely different kettle of fish, and forum-format has always stressed me out (as soon as you post, it pushes the topic to the top of the page, noooo I want to hide, don't look at me). I still get kind of shy about posting here (...he says, even with over a thousand posts. I know, I know) but it's getting easier over time. : D Still feel so new though, even though I've been here since, like, August.

Also I used to be quite a silent person when I didn't have anything important to say. Now you can't shut me up!

And I'm very glad that you don't shut up. : D
