Maybe when you live close to the sea you worry about flooding?  (Says the guy who lives no more than 45m ASL, but 22km from the ocean so I'm not much worried about flooding).

Psh, I'll take it. We'll be lucky if we get any snow here this year(or as my parents say:unlucky). There's a little bit of frost on the ground though! That melts away by noon. It's funny because central Oregon got it's first snow on Wednesday I think, and they got 14 inches. We got our first frost on Wednesday.

Speaking of which, it's been super cold lately! Ok, not that cold, but it feels cold. Like, 40 degrees Fahrenheit during the day on average(it's cold to me, okay). I'm getting a heater today because our new dehumidifier sucks and doesn't put out heat.

The SO did, after arguing for a while that it was a silly, regrettable idea, I would get cold and wet and miserable and no. Come to think of it I kind of didn't explain WHY I wanted it but... well... I'm actually not even sure why but hey, it was an awesome opportunity!
