The weather in iceland is so wonderfully random.

You could actually have one of those clouds by itself that only rains on your house. Or if you're driving, for 5 minutes while you're under this one cloud, it rains, then you overtake it and everything is sunny again.

well, the fresh layer of snow was pretty while it lasted. we're back to above zero degrees and rain, turning everything to slush and ice. THE TRONDHEIM WINTER CYCLE BEGINS

hnnn two more unicorns to design........ i already have
- lava unicorn
- desert unicorn
- sea unicorn (totally not a narwhal)
- spooky ghost unicorn
- leaf unicorn
- armour unicorn
- star/gem unicorn??
- flying unicorn (the nyoomicorn)
- celtic-if-you-squint unicorn
- cyber-unicorn
- a generic unicorn for the front page

i also had a mountain unicorn but i discarded it because i wasn't very happy with it. come ON ideas

Most of the "castles" in the US would be more like palaces than castles -- big, indefensible houses for really rich people.

I'm having another of those "meh" days, when I really don't feel like doing nothing. At least I made some chocolate cake, that always cheers me up a little. :)

Chocolate cake makes for an excellent cheer-up charm, I agree. : D
I find the only way for me to get rid of blah is to just ride it out, alas.

Just in case you were asking for suggestions, let me mutter "shadow unicorn" (just outlines in the dark) and "ball pit unicorn" ("if only they wouldn't get stuck on my horn all the time!!") in no particular direction ...
