I'm sorry for the ones who had been worried. I was in Paris this afternoon. My little brother really scared me, not answering to his phone, but he and my friends are all all right. The most difficult, now, after having managed stop shivering and being angry/sad/worried/scared/so much in the same time, will be find the sleep...

I think the only forumites we currently have in Japan are Auleliel and myself and we are both quite far away from the earthquake (it didn't even wake me up, it was that far away). Although it was fairly big I don't think there was much damage (at least according to the news site I use), Japan is very prepared for earthquakes after all.

It's hard to know what to say when a thing like this happens. I'm very glad you're ok, it's just rattling when there's violence as random and painful as this. My sympathies go out to the families of the victims, and I just hope that nothing similar happens anytime soon. It's just always hard to comprehend when something like this happens, but I just hope that all you minnions are ok.
