I RETURN FROM SHADOCON!!
short rundown:
-cosplayed 3 fandoms in 3 days
-cosplayed like?? four haikyuu people?? five?? i dont know anymore
-eight hours of sleep, total
-so much money gone. yolo. the candy was great and i have no regrets

long rundown:

-Friday night i was initially kageyama (haikyuu!!) and i wasn't v comfortable but then i switched to hinata (also haikyuu!!) and that was RAD I LOVE COSPLAYING HINAT
-i talked to a couple of people i hadn't talked to enough before!! that was rad and not awkward at all!!! surprisingly
-we ran around a lot??
-we did a photoshoot. 10/10. it was really fun and i'll post some pictures here eventually
-we played a mix of keep-away and monkey in the middle against 4 other sports anime cosplayers (basketball anime?) and got REKT but it was really fun and also 11:30 at night. yolo
-saturday we got up SO EARLY and went to a volleyball court for another haikyuu!! photoshoot. i think i was hinata and also tsukishima? possibly. i was so many ok i have no idea.
-there was so much sand in my shoes.
-so much.
-did you know i cannot play volleyball
-because i can't
-(just so you know)
-HOWEVER I THEN GOT INTO JASPER (steven universe) COSPLAY WHICH TOOK A WHILE, BEING ORANGE AND ALL
-we couldn't move five feet without somebody asking for a picture. a quarter of the con on saturday probably had pictures of us. nice
-we talked to so many really sweet people it was so good :'3c
-I BOUGHT SO MANY THINGS
-so many things. i went in with 100+ dollars and now i have. 9
-i have a large amount of candy and i dont know how good it'll taste
-i hung out with karma and ame and it was SO RAD
-THERE WAS A BITTY CORN SNAKE AND I GOT TO PET IT BECAUSE I WAS IN JASPER COSPLAY AND WE MATCHED
-later i got back into hinata. did more 'volleyball'. failed MAGNIFICENTLY and managed to hit myself in the head with my own ball. i'm watching the anime and im only now getting why everybody thought it was hilarious
-i am really bad at volleyball
-mmMMMMm i think i talked to people but it was late and i cant remember lmao
-today i cosplayed lakka from shootaround really quickly and got a few cute pictures! then i changed into hinata. again. but in a casual outfit matching one of the prints in artist's alley
-so tired!! btu i bought more. 10/10

IT WAS SUCH A GREAT CON

you can see who's doing what the last fifteen minutes when you click on the numbers of people online! for some reason!

the PE teacher in high school was pretty passionate about volleyball and wanted my class to Get Good at it and had it relatively often, right,,
problem: i am the opposite of passionate about volleyball... i am in fact very scARED OF THE BALL
so what I usually did was. lie on the floor in protest
sometimes I got permission to do PE by running around in circles
which was pretty great
I got pretty good at running around in circles. also seagull herding but that's another story

a thing that the PE teacher actually said to me once
"you managed to catch a ball three months ago, so why can't you now?"

and yeah I don't. have PE. because i'm in the ib program and we just have cas hours. but i just rEALLY wanna be good at the sport because i'm 100% a HUGE WEEB.....
