I was confused! I was looking and looking at your avatar, trying to figure out what was different, and I still don't know what's different, just that it is... kind of like that feeling when somebody changes glasses, or gets braces, or, I dunno, gets their nose rearranged.

I noticed that too! But I wasn't sure, because your icon has always been Captain Ása, but this time she looked different... My brain was like "hey, the icon has changed!" but also "of course it hasn't changed, it has always been this one..." and I was VERY confused for a while.

I thought this was your style of a halloween prank, slowly driving other forumites insane while they tried to understand what the heck happened with your icon. XD

Considering that Ása-vatar is basically a canon Laufey-avatar it wasn't that obvious, but I still noticed it "subliminally". I was kind of worried that I was losing my mind.

What was your previous avatar though? I should remember, but... yeah, I have no idea.

Ahahahaha ok, this makes one thing clear: I can't sneak things past people if I change the whole icon. :D Not saying I wouldn't try to though, it's fun.

The only non-Ása icon you mean? It was just a random image of a Medieval house interior - and of course now that I try to find that image again I can't find it anywhere. Sigh... oh well, reminds me I should arrange my computer better and maybe make a post of the different Ása icons I've had so far. :-\

Okay, so I take it your previous avatar was also an Ása-vatar, okay? Okay.

That explains why I couldn't remember your previous avatar: you're basically ninjaing between two variants of the same motif.

There may have been more than two variants but the motif has always stayed the same because what can I do, I relate to captain Ása so well. :D

Of course the moment I give up looking for the picture it finally decides to show up:



It's nothing that amazing, I think I chose it just because I like the photo I took at some Medieval house at some point. Then Ása made her quick appearance in SSSS and I just knew what had to be done.

Oop a bit late to the party but yes I saw it earlier too and it was driving me crazy because I couldn't remember if she had been smiling before or not. Good to hear I'm not seeing things.

Apparently she's been changing it in small ways over time. I remember the party hat. And at one point I think she was knitting something else. But that's all I can recall. There may have been more.

Anyways speaking of avatars I reminds me I have to go change mine now.

I do believe I recognize the closeup of knitting Ása from page 282  and the two closeups from page 283. Then again, this much later it might just be my brain messing with me
