If anyone's looking for a distraction, I found this game and it reminded me of the conversation about typing that happened in this thread a week or so ago...

Melu, my advice there is to look for a black dress with no sleeves and a cardigan. Probably a bit easier to find? And warmer.
Thank Noodly :) A friend can lend me a cape, which will help because we'll be in a castle. Or around a castle. The event is in Game of Thrones universe so a cardigan might be... not exactly what is expected. What am I doing what am I doing what am I doing ?

Hey Haiz o/

How long will you be in Switzerland? :)

Depending on how long you're staying/where you are/how much free time you have I might be able to recommend you something fun to do or see ^^

ahaha yep that's me right there. It's like 20C outside and I'm wearing long pants and a fleece.
If you have a microwave, you can make a thing that's like a pillow but 2/3 full of rice and nuke it for a few minutes to make it super warm and cosy.

It's 8 degrees here right now, it's perfect. 20 degrees is way too toasty.

They have cheese. And chocolate. And knives. 'S nice.

Same here, and the trees are starting to change colours. I'm looking forward to that.

And mountains!  They have this!

They also have a boss-level particle accelerator, part of which looks like this.
Might be a bit harder to go see, though...

"Might be"... ::)
But it seems the perfect place for a meeting, look, Fimby has cheese, chocolate and knives, urbicande has mountains, you have your... "boss-level particle accelerator", Aki and Adriano live there and Haiz is already there too ! What could be a problem ? Ah, yes, life is expensive.

And mountains!  They have this!

I'm eagerly awaiting when the snow finally falls down and all the trees become white.

I have a small forest path that i walk through every day and it becomes like something from a fairy tale once January hits.

You can go visit it. Well, at least the faculties and parts of the machine. I did it with friends. The only problem is getting down there and you have to do this as a group visit so you need to do some planning. The tour is however highly informative and CERN is a fascinating place :)
(but prepare for lotsa walking, the place is huge)

I got a tour of CERN on a school trip to Geneva a few years ago, it was very interesting. We weren't allowed down to see any of the LHC experiments, though, as it was during the time they were upgrading/doing maintenance on the equipment. But one day!
