This might be a bad time to say that the sky is perfectly clear for me >_>. I'd share pictures, but my phone couldn't focus on something so far away, and I don't have a better camera with me.

It's not cloudy here at all. Unfortunately it is sunny... One of the times when living in Asia is less cool.

I've been dreaming about trying to see the eclipse out the window for something that feels like an hour so that I actually woke up by myself (still not putting this in the weird dreams thread!). And I've beeen outside and seen it, and the sky is perfectly clear! That is one thing I would have missed without the forum (Stumbles back to bed)

I saw it, too! It's pretty amazing. We tried to take pictures, but they're really blurry.
First, my iPod wouldn't zoom in far enough, our camera died, my phone was dead, basically everything with a camera was dead.. we charged the camera, went outside, spent 20 minutes trying to get the moon actually into the picture..and got some really blurry photos. Not on any of our computers yet.

It's really hard to take a good quality picture of anything in the sky. I think you need special camera lenses to get anything high quality. But kudos to you for trying!

It was perfectly clear and beautiful and perfect for watching an eclipse except for all the freaking people driving around with their brights on. WHY.

However, I can now comprehend why there are so many mythological moon-eating monsters. That was awesome!

Funny story about while we were watching. There was a group of students sitting in benches across the street from us and all of a sudden a large skunk walked out of the bushes. People started pointing and then all at once people sitting nearby noticed it and started running and screaming and it was kind of really funny. The poor skunk then kind of shambled off to hide and people started taking pictures of it.

I wasn't able to get outside and see the moon At least it'll happen again in my lifetime...
