I HEARD BAMSEMUMS Ah, sorry, they just happen to be my all-time-favourite norwegian sweet. But it's been so long since I've eaten them... must travel to Norway again soon.

Were you using windows 7 before?  I upgraded from that on my laptop (on which I am currently typing!) and it seems to be pretty similar.  Then again, if you switched from windows 8, it's probably a completely new experience.

Every archery club needs a tree house to hold club meetings in. Complete with a ballista and a drunk friar.
[Imagines tree, complete with house, shaking in all directions whomping-willow-style as ballista gets fired]
[Gets page 379 vibes]

it's kinda marshmallow-y?

Wish I could help, but I can't even figure out why the HDMI monitor no longer works with the Professora's netbook.  I've swapped cables & displays to isolate the fault, and it seems to be the HDMI port...which does not seem to show up separately in the list of system devices.

Uff.  Wah!! :'(

Good luck with Win 10! :D

I don't know whether everyone here can see it or not, but I'm super duper pumped for the lunar eclipse tonight.

The moon's pretty cool! I like the stars and sky and y'know, stuff. Yep.

The moon's pretty cool.

Plus my main god is a moon god. Khonsu, prepare yourself for me to slide all of my gemstones at you.

Most of the forumites should be able to see at least some of it! Those on the east coast of North America, pretty much all of Central/South America and in the western parts of Europe and Africa should be able to see the entire duration of the eclipse, and most other places will be able to see parts of it. Unfortunately, it'll be daytime for all of you in Asia and Australia, so you won't be able to see it :(

Map and times of the eclipse

I'm excited :))

Woah neat! Looks like I'll be able to see it. It's not too late either.

Me too, I love things like this. I've actually seen one before, I think! But I was small and I had no idea what it actually was at the time.

It's gonna be visible at 7 here, assuming that a) it's dark enough out and b) there aren't too many clouds. \o/
(it'll be a nerd magnet. Space enthusiasts everywhere will be pulled from their homes to stand in the street, staring in awe at the lack of moon)
I'll do art-swaps and beta-reads, PM me!
