Sometimes I forget just how tiny Iceland is and then I'm suddenly reminded. Today Justin Bieber is apparently here because:

Bieber ordered a chicken sandwich - the staff member still in shock

Justin Bieber in Iceland: visited Lemon* in Reykjanesbæ

Bieber used a public toilet - heading towards the Golden Circle**

...and many, many other equally important headlines...

* a juice shop
** the big three -trip: the waterfall Gullfoss, Þingvellir and the Geysir area.

*rolls eyes* sorry to all beliebers among us, but I do not like him as a human being (to put it mildly) and I would very much like to give him a special tour of Þingvellir and the geysirs. That's a tasty looking kalkunsbringa though, I hope he liked it.

In Iceland's defence they made a really massive deal out of his visit to Norway some years ago.

Fun fact: he's from the same area as some of my family friends and they used to see him playing on the steps of the church when he was little.

Not too fond of him either, but please consider our reputation. This year we have lost seven tourists already and that's more tourists dying in accidents than Icelanders...

It would suck if he died of course. No idea what the news article means, but the guy in the picture looks annoyed so I guess it happens pretty often. Do people die at thingvellir and near the geysirs though?
