Twist ending! (Or at least I didn't see it coming.) Great job, ThisCat!

I'll write more later! Gotta go!

I really like how most of the sentences start on new lines. It adds more to the...tension? Anticipation? Something like that.  :)

Suspence?

The most important thing with horror is how you tell it.

Really liked it, particularly the pacing and second person point of view (pretty sure that is not the correct term in English).

I think you can say it like that, but usually you'd say second-person narrator I think?
Either way, second person narrator and present tense is an effective way of writing horror. Usually I'd never even try.

I kept expecting something like:

If you ignore the sound, turn to page 6.
If you panic, turn to page 10.

This world is crazy. I'm wearing several layers of clothes to keep warm, and there are still mosquitoes in my room. In November.

Thanks :)

...I was pretty sure it's 2nd person POV, but do we really care? Anyways, very good! Too bad this forum doesn't have the clapping emoticon DA has.

Nor do we have a blushing emoticon that doesn't look sad.
Aww, guys, thanks. You're making me blush.

Now that I've got my mandatory Halloween post out of the way: Concerning all the lady complaints of the last few pages that got filled up while I was at work today, maybe I can offer some happier words?  Keep in mind that you gals do (most of the time) mature much faster emotionally and mentally than men, and are just generally pretty awesome.  Also, it's been my experience that women are more naturally creative and artistic, as well as more likely to stick with developing a skill or a hobby.
I feel a little out of place saying that but, again, that's just what I've experienced.
Thoughts, rants, requests for crucification comments?

Good story, ThisCat!
