Welp, good luck on your quest, Laufey! *totally not feeling guilty for indirectly causing wool shortage*

So! I was at my first lecture of the semester, namely in classical religion and philosophy. The lecturer was a teensy bit bumbling and awkward, but at least he speaks norwegian. As for class... other than me, there was just one other person. Which is actually pretty great, because maybe now I can manage to socialize with my class!! for once!!!
except i was the only one making any attempt at socializing between us two and that was just asking her name and i'm uh. not the best at socializing. so i'm not having too high hopes hahaha

lecturer: "and I... uh... need two volunteers for being class representatives..."
*all 2 students exchange deadpan stare*

Starting the semester this early sucks, while there are countries where university only starts in October. (and these differences are nightmares to the mobility coordinators...) I suppose you have more holidays during the year, but still.

We have just had a very emotional farewell party for exchange students participating in a special programme, which itself has ended - at least at our uni. These guys were my precious students; most of them have been here for 1,5 years, so my heart broke a little today... it was hell a lot of work, but still the best part of my job so far  :'(
