Remember, it's all fun and games until someone whips out an ax...
Do they still involve blood-feuds?

No no, drinking games don't start blood feuds (although Egill did once deliberately barf on some guy's face during one just to make a point). Things that DO start blood feuds are f.ex.

- disagreement over seating order (Brennu-Njáls saga)
- a fancy hat (well ok, maybe the hat was just the first hint of what was to come and the real feud started by blocking people from using their own toilet) (Laxdæla saga)
- Haraldur Fairhair being present. Seriously the most dramatic king I've ever read of. (Egils saga)
- insisting on pooping on temple grounds (Eyrbyggja saga)
- annnd sometimes plain old killing someone (Gísla saga Súrssonar)

Wow, you Icelanders are real sticklers for etiquette, even more than the guys at Versailles who were always starting duels.  Miss Manners would approve.  (Or be terrified.  Or something.)

I think the fancy hat is the closest we've come to a blood feud except not with hats, with sunglasses.

I have also learned that Icelandic men are lousy at putting up tents (pictures when I have a computer)

I think the major difference between icelandic drinking games and western icelandic drinking games is that all canadians end up arguing about hockey and icelanders dont :P

Well, the thing he's most famous for is starting a whole bunch of wars because that one girl wouldn't marry him. I like to think that his two (out of some alleged 100 sons) successor sons Eirik (Bloodaxe) and Håkon (the Good) inherited two different aspects of his personality. Same with two of his other sons, Halfdan the White and Halfdan the Black.

May I ask for Help? Like, I need to know the most basic Italian for these days though. For example, the words like left, right, straight, etc. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to translate the Italian to Spanish... Half of the time I have to tell them to talk in English to understand them.  Oh well ::)
Today I was in the Roman Coliseum, Spain Square and the Trevi fountain. All was beautiful :') And in two days I think I'll go to the Vatican City~
Plus, I think I'm in the I-saw-somebody-like-Haiz club xD Yesterday, the receptionist was totally like hir but without glasses. I was staring all the time and creeping her out hah
I am floating away, lost in a silent ballet.

Hm, so although a liiittle dramatic by nature he was also lovesick and had ten years of continuous bad hair day... ok I'm beginning to see things from his side a little bit.  :-\

Oh good, it wasn't your fault for not using the more-secure Fireman's Carry. :)
