Oh, gyoza. I've always wanted to try those. The problem being that nobody here makes them, and I'm too lazy/mediocre at cooking to figure out how. It's on the "try before I die" list though, along with sushi, ramen, hakarl and char siu.

I can confirm that this is in fact another trebuchet and definitely not used for cheese!

Losing, winning, it's ok. The point is that afterwards there'll be steamed buns (= baozi/nikuman, although I make really good gyoza too if I say it myself).

PS Also try balut. It might not be as revolting as rotten shark, but apparently eating dead unborn baby chickens isn't a commonplace practice, I gather (I actually haven't tried it yet (bad Dane!) but I do love me some of these bad boys.).

*shrug* You tell me. To me they're both dumplings, which in itself is an alien concept in Scandinavia (with the exception of potato balls). The nuances are lost on me.
