I figured this Pottermore thingie out. Apparently I had to rob a bank and go on a tedious shopping spree to make the hat do its thing. It claims that I belong in Gryffindor of all things.

Now I need to figure out why I spent 15 minutes of my life on this.

It Hufflepuffed me. I am the least Hufflepuff person I know. I've spent a significant portion of my life in the "Who needs friends when you have books?" mindset.

Kick: .....I hope you'll be allright.

I've always identified as a ravenclaw, but I also feel a certain kinship to hufflepuff? and I'm not sure if gryffindor is wholly wrong, either, people keep calling me brave but Iiiii... don't think I'm a gryff. Most tests I've taken end in Ravenclaw.
...... is it narcissistic to ask where you'd place me because I obviously can't tell anymore

"Hello I think I just robbed a bank"
"That is sooo Gryffindor".

To be honest I'm not entirely sure what the different houses actually stand for. Gryffindor is the goody two-shoes I suppose?

If it was impulsive bankrobbing, yes, definitely gryffindor. And don't make me bring up the blart incident again, that's the MOST GRYFFINDOR THING i have ever witnessed

Gryffindor - courage/bravery, known for acting on impulse/heat of the moment, standing your ground

Slytherin - ambition, cunning, loyalty. stereotyped into 'the evil house', sadly very little nuanced in the books as they're from Harry's perspective.

Ravenclaw - wisdom, knowledge, creativity. Solving stuff, thinking outside the box.

Hufflepuff - hardworking, patient, inclusive? Often seen as 'the leftover house' because nobody is really sure what their thing is.

ooooooor at least that's how I've understood it, a lot of people have different interpretations

edit: in the books, the only people who actually robbed a bank were our trio of gryffindor heroes. SO UM YEAH

//appears late to the party//
Why are we talking about Harry Potter things? Oh well...
Also, //hugs KnR// I fight with my mother sometimes too but you'll see everything will be ok :3

And as for me, spas gives me headaches apparently. Or at least when I came out of the sauna after of swimming in the jacuzzi. We were there for an hour and a half?? And my mother wanted to go to the swimming pool and I was like "Mom. NO."
Then we just go to a little town of the 18th century. The houses where from 1785+ and something we still don't know what it was from 1543?? It was creepy!
Well, today was a looooong day...
I am floating away, lost in a silent ballet.

Slytherin - ambition, cunning, loyalty. stereotyped into 'the evil house', sadly very little nuanced in the books as they're from Harry's perspective.

I dunno, it seems like they're actually plain evil considering that the founder built a room dedicated to the purpose of randomly killing a student every once in a while just to keep everyone on their toes.

From what i can remember from my own reading I associated Ravenclaw with the geeks and perfectionists, Slytherin with jerks and thugs and Hufflepuff with dorks.
