The university was building this massive new chemistry laboratory and it just caught fire last September as they were putting the finishing touches on it. We had a great view of it from my housemate's skylight, we live about ten minutes walk from the site (and yes, my housemates and I did all stroll down to get a closer look).
Great fireworks show on one hand, threw one heck of a spanner into the works of my uni's chemistry department on the other...

Haha, I can think of half-a-dozen possible explanations for that "totally accidental" fire, each more entertaining than the last, without needing another cough drop.  What's the smart money on, at your uni?  Unsupervised fireworks?  Illegal explosives research?  Tony Soprano's crew?  Red Lectroids?

Well, that's really bad. At least no one got stuck in the lab and turned into a villainous masked nanorobot controller?

Haiz: but if I have to make the food there will be nothing but pasta every day

THAT SAID i wouldn't mind being roommates with any of you. I just prefer not to be anxious about the house burning down at any time, you know?
