Heh, I'm just reading a book about the health care system in Germany/Europe, and it said like three pages ago that Norwegians don't seem to like going to a doctor - they only visit a doctor thrice a year on average, which is scarce compared to the Germans with 18 times a year. ;)
ahahahahaha HAHAHa ha ha ha it's..... it's kinda true........ the number of times I've gone to a doctor in Czech is EASILY three times as many as I've gone to a doctor in Norway. Which is even funnier considering the fact that I spend the majority of my time in Norway.

But the czech system is also, like 5x more effective??
Last time I tried to find out What Was Wrong with me (non-urgent kind of wrong. not even wrong, just weird) here in Norway, the process took... well over a year, actually? maybe two. it was like. talk to a specialist. wait some weeks. take tests. wait many weeks for results. wait many more weeks for next appointment. have appointment, take more tests. wait weeks, get asked to do more tests. wait months for results. get sent to next doctor. rEPEAT CYCLE.

And if you're scared of them shoving a cord down your throat again, Haiz, remember that they can't force you to go through it, and you can always request another method being used to examine you! To my somewhat sane knowledge you're an adult and therefore can make decisions yourself!
this is TRUE, but norwegian doctors are aaalsooo kinda pushovers? if you tell them you don't wanna do a thing and it's too much effort to do something else it may very easily turn into "HAHA OK THEN YOU'RE FINE YOU DON'T NEED TO DO ANYTHING" and they'll send you home :///

(pffffffffffff, adult)

i also think i have established earlier i'm not a too-proud-to-ask-for-help type because my abilites include crying to just about anyone about my problems

Thrice a year? Even with generous welfare state arrangements I've only visited had four doctor appointments the last ten years regarding two separate ailments. The last time I went was due to recurring chest pain (which they didn't figure out by the way. Doesn't exactly invite another visit).

Not me. I'm just waiting for the day when the cops figure me out and send me back to pre-school.

Please. At least we try. Some people go through their whole life not noticing that they still act like they are in high school.

WHO LET US BUY A HOUSE?
I'm in the school's rocketry club, and we had a moment during a build where we were like "we just spent 10 minutes making chicken noises at each other. And people trust us with *fire*.  ???"

I'm not sure mothers in general feel adult to be honest. I know mine runs around forests at night looking for glow worms, has lengthy, one-sided discussions with our 2CV (especially if there's something wrong with it) and likes to help me build props for cosplay. I've no idea why she knows how to make really effective slingshots but she does.

Who else have seen the new Mad Max movie? It has quickly become one of my favourite movies of all time mainly because of how well done it is
It's serious action, serious plot, no comic relief, only a couple of CGI shots (michael bay please leave) and it was all written and directed by a 70 year old.
Not to mention, Max as a character gets a lot of background time, making him somewhat ambigious, like an unspoken, unknown legend, which is really really cool because only the viewer knows how badass he is, and therefore he's hardly ever glorified by any character in any other situation until the movie climax.

By "we try", do you want to say "we act like "adult" outside when the situation require it but don't feel as inside" ?

In my experience, parents tend to have led quite interesting lives that they don't tell their kids about. I was kind of surprised when I found out my quiet, dependable teacher dad put himself through college working as a bouncer at a gay bar...

my mom is the weird horse girl (you know, the one who keeps drawing horses all the time) that collects rocks (NO MOM WE CAN'T CARRY THAT ROCK WITH US they won't even let us take it on the plane to norway what the heck)

I REALLY WANNA SEE IT?? when i saw the trailer I was like "this looks either really great or really bad", but since then I've only heard praise and people complaining it's feminist propaganda, which... if it's """""feminist propaganda""""", I definitely wanna see it. even if the propaganda is as feminism101 as "women are not things".

I've never really known what or who mad max is though, will i be very confused if i see this movie just like that?
