If you get the chance, watch some old episodes (not that there's any other type) of Julia Child.  I think I gain weight just watching the amount of butter she puts in her stuff.

I got sick, 6 days before my trip around the Baltic Sea!! I stayed at home today and luckily it seems that I’m getting better quickly, but that was a close call :P
On the bright side of things, I went to the National Opera and saw two exquisite spectacles in the past few days. Both were collaborations of Treliński and Kudlička, my grandma’s (and thanks to her, mine too now) favourite director and stage designer.

Ooo, I hope you have a lovely trip.  What places are you meant to visit, or is it simply cruising a la the Hotakainens?

Heading to rendezvous this morning and won't be back until Monday evening. It's a small event, not open to the public, just for 'skinners only. I know a lot of the folks there. Nice to just chill sometimes.

Hahah, I wish :)) it’s a trip with my class. We’re going to Riga, Stockholm, Turku, Helsinki and Tallin. I can’t wait to see them all. Thank you very much!

Reasonably priced love? I'm not going there. I was listening to Katzenjamer on the way into work. 2 of their songs have the line "where is the love". I remember seeing Oliver on Broadway as an early teen and just being split wide open by the song "Where is love".
Gaah, where did all that come from.

I do like that book! And yes, lilacs. Ours won't flower yet here for three months, since with us it's the start of winter, but I have both purple and white ones in my garden.
