thorny, you may well be right. Serendipitous seedlings are definitely a thing that happens (like the original Granny Smith). I'm passing through home just now, looking through here while I wait for my next lift, but I should be back home for the night in a few hours. It has been a busy, fun if exhausting few days. I mean 1,85 is still taller than I am, but you're shorter than my brother who stands a proud 2,00!

My Finnish name (if I use the name I go by on the interwebs) is apparently  Saana Lakkamaa

I don't really like any of the names I got with the Finnish name generator (no snow, no spruce, no mountains!?) but I'll say I got Lakkamaa as well so apparently I'm related to Windy.

My brother is 2 metres and my ex is 2 metres so for me 2 metres is like... that's what people who are not me is supposed to be! Everyone below that is short!
Okay no, it's more, 2 meter-people are kinda tall but not mindblowingly so, people between my height and 2 meters are good sized people and people shorter than me are SO BLOODY SHORT!
...and for some reason pretty much everyone down here in the south is shorter than me so I feel SO TALL with my 169 centimeters...

Hah, I agree! At 158 cm, I could sure use a few more, too. Juuuust enough so that I don't have to hem all the pants I buy... Though at least it's easier for little old me to take off some fabric than it is for the tall folks to try and conjure more length out of thin air!

I'm also from the south, but nearly everyone I know is a lot taller than me... like 1.70+ ´:)

I've had an absolute whirlwind of height difference these last three years. I'm from the UK originally, where I'm a pretty average height of 1.65m, but then moved to Japan after finishing university where I felt like a GIANT (it was epic). After two years I had the bright idea to come to the Netherlands to study, and all of a sudden, I'm one of the shortest people around. I can't even see my full face in the bathroom mirror it's so high  :? What a change of fortunes...
