Groooaaaannn! JoB, have I mentioned that your sense of humour is truly groanworthy?
Not in such a broad way, no; your feedback has been more groanular so far. >:D

Spoiler: show

I wish I had both the skill and the ability to stand within five feet of one of the blessed felines without my immune system trying to kill me! :)

It is a commercially available product from (where else?) Japan.

They also make dog armour

My cats won't even wear collars. One time I put a bandanna on my dog's collar and she ate it ten minutes later. I'll just add these things to the pile of nice stuff I cannot have because my animals are asshats.
I saw the future.

As it just so happens I have plenty of friends here in Japan who have cats. One friend who has 5 cats, was particularly gobsmacked when I showed it to her :D Japan is weird when it comes to pets, but I think this is probably a bit farfetched even for here!

Wait, what the ... !?

[rechecks xkcd's archive page]

Oh, hardy har! That strip's title is actually not "RTL" ("right to left"), but "LTR" put in RTL itself. So when I told my browser to search for "RTL" in the page, that strip was not among the five matches, while searching for "LTR" locates it right away. As if the xkcd titles weren't nonintuitive enough most of the time already ... ::)

Well, if you didn't know, this is what bird's ears look like. i was looking through some reference images for an art piece when I realized "where are their ears? bird heads are usually just smooth with feathers??" and then stumbled across this. O_o

That's pretty strange about bird ears. Almost one of those "too much information" things, particularly about the owl's eyeballs.

Many years ago one of my house mates had a cat named Ophelia who was very dainty and delicate. But on summer evenings she would sit on top of her mistress's car and take in the sounds. Her head and her 2 ears acted as totally independent units. The ears swiveled this way and that while the head rotated to it's own plan. It was a site to behold.
