Uh... Perhaps I should explain.
From my limited perspective, a summery of the weather in western Washington (Washington state, west of the Cascades) could be:
20% Sunny
40% Overcast
35% Misty Rain
4% Medium Rain
1% Heavy Rain / Snow / Sleet / Hail
I want to make it clear that even amongst people like me who've lived here their entire lives there are sizeable discrepencies in what people think "normal" weather is like.
My mom says:
I think it's cloudy like 80% of the days. I forget. Drizzle frequently, but not much actual rainfall.
So... That's closer to mine than I expected it to be. But other than precipitation, we get really big windstorms in fall that cause power outages and scattered thunderstorms in late summer. Hopefully that makes sense?
