So with moving to Korea in a month and a half, apparently I won't have internet for about the first month I'm there which is giving me a lot of distress purely for the fact that I won't be able to read SSSS for an entire month D:

At least this will solve another problem of I frequently wish I could read new pages in large chunks at a time instead of just a new page per day except I don't have the self control to wait for pages to build up, buuuuut now I won't have a choice and I can read a big ol' chunk of new pages at once !

Hm, you can also re-read pages, no?
So you have them in large chunks.
It's always good to re-read!

I know the feeling.  I'll be away for two week, which means I'll have TEN WHOLE NEW PAGES that I can read in one glorious sitting!
Keep an eye on me. I shimmer on horizons.

Three swedes are moving into the barracks today....

I will try not to compare them with emil.

Regardless this makes 8 americans 1 texan 1 australian and now 3 swedes living on the same compound.... and the state forestry crew hasn't even started their season yet.

I'm amusingly reminded of that Snowy Mountains song, written by one of the guys who worked on the big Hydro scheme there, that has a chorus something like:'four Italians, three Germans, two Yugoslavs, and me'. Their workforce came from all over the planet, a lot of them were refugees getting away from the war in Europe, and some of them made excellent music as well as multicultural friendships.

Meanwhile, in Canada: Having to remind my Irish coworkers that we aren't allowed to prop open the door for ventilation because there are bears on site.

Again.

Bear spray?

Not standard-issue... I'm not sure we're allowed to have it on site, either.

But the main thing is to make sure that something like that would not be necessary in the first place. ;p

Has a bear ever wandered in before ?

Not into the trailer, thank gods. But into the fenced area surrounding the trailer, yes. We had to call site security to chase it away with air horns. :Va

Oh, and one time I was delayed from coming through the security gate for like half an hour because there was a bear hanging around there. Good times. ;p
