What's the point in having an offshore account if you pay taxes for it anyway? *poor person here, I never needed to get educated about this*

I used to live in London and the  exchange rates turned very unfavorable for bringing that money back to the US (seriously bad. The pound was pretty strong against the dollar when I was living there and had to bring money over, and now it's gone the other way).

It's incredibly depressing to realise that if SSSS ever actually happened, this guy would be in charge of the last bastion of civilisation.

That may be only tangentially related to offshore accounts but I can't not bring it up if we're swapping crap politicians ;)

I can't think of anything particularly wild about norwegian politicians (i don't really pay much attention anyhow), but my czech friends told me that their newly elected president showed up hungover to some important event and almost threw up on some literal crown jewels on national television. the only presidential candidate that wasn't corrupt had tattoos all over his face.

yeah i guess that counts. but actually I've had that as my personal quote even b4 I pulled my disappearing act(s).

Also I'm so great @ ruining things for myself. I'm never opening up prompts for superheroes on my tumbr again unless I request ppl refer to them by their real names and not their codenames. there's like, five novas I can name off the top of my head.

Would that be Tony Abbott by any chance? From what I've heard of the man that doesn't sound out of character!

It *is* possible to Knight Prince Phillip, as long as you reverse a decision made 31 years earlier to eliminate Australian Knights and Dames, and eat an onion while doing do.
